Haggard

Last Friday Jelmer, Olivier, Geert and I went to see Haggard, a German symphonic metal band. It was totally awesome and very impressive: about 15 people on a not-so-big stage, and lots of different instruments. Within the first 30 seconds one of the sopranos completely blew us away with a very high and very powerful voice. The venue itself was pretty small, and there was plenty of room for more people — this band deserves a lot more attention than it got. Afterwards they joined the audience (or what was left of it) and I got some autographs on the poster I bought. And we got to take a picture of us with two of the band members. One of the best concerts in a long while.
