Ground Beef Pie

Yesterday I made a ground beef pie for my parents and sisters. The recipe comes from the Fokke & Sukke cookbook. It’s hard to do something wrong; the recipe is a standard oven pie one: pastry in the bottom of the pan, add cooked bacon dice and ground beef, then cover with an egg-cream-herb-cheese mixture. Don’t forget the cherry tomatoes: they are small explosives of yummy tomato goodness, offering your taste buds a beautiful contrast with the spicy meat.
