Blood Diamond

Had two tests, recently. I sent emails to both teachers, asking in what language the tests were going to be. The first (Sistemas Operativos Distribuídos I) never replied and thus I got a Portuguese one (see above); fortunately, I was allowed to answer in English. The second (Criptografia Aplicada) replied he was confident enough in my Portuguese that he’d give me the normal Portuguese one as well, but surprised me by giving me a translated version anyways. Thanks, prof. Barbosa! The results of the latter are available already; combined with my grade for the project for that course, I have a final grade of 15 points (out of 20). It’s not entirely fair to simply divide by 2 to convert to the Dutch scale: you only need 10 points to pass a course here, and 19- and 20-point-grades are extremely rare. All that’s left now is three projects: one about OWL, another about SGLR, and another about objectification of Haskell programs.

Today Marc and I were going to the movies with Sabina, Jason and Andrew. We agreed at 17h at Bragashopping, but it turned out they actually meant Bragaparque, which is another shopping center. So I ended up seeing Blood Diamond just with Marc. It’s a good movie. Then we went to McDonalds for dinner.

Zo vaag, wat jij nu post en wat ik een poosje terug op Morning Musume forum postte: http://www.mm-bbs.org/index.php?showtopic=65&st=90&p=21820&#entry21820 Nou, als dat geen toeval is.

Blij dat de film leuk was, er hangen hier al maaaaaanden posters van in Utrecht op CS (waarvan weer de mega BUS letters zijn gesloopt). Ben je alleen met Marc wezen eten? Of dan dat wel met de anderen?

Mocht je tijdens de toets gewoon vragen wat bepaalde dingen waren in het Engels?

Ja, leuke baby he? :-) Ja, alleen met Marc wezen eten. Ik heb ze wel gebeld maar ze gingen naar huis en thuis eten. Ja, ik mocht dingen vragen; de docent heeft ook e.e.a. uitgelegd. Het is fijn dat ik in ieder geval over één vak nu zekerheid heb.

Wel foto’s nemen zaterdag, he?
