Kerstdiner
Because most people will go home for Christmas, the university organized some Christmas dinners last week. The one here in Santa Tecla was last Thursday, for the residents that live here. There were pretty candles and some chocolates for everybody. They served potatoes, fish with a crusty outer layer and some broccoli. For dessert, we had bolo rei (kinda like kerststol) and aletria, which is basically arroz doce but with noodles instead of rice. Afterwards there was a big pile of presents, for those people who had contributed to that same pile. Kinda like a Giant Shuffling of Presents.
